Tillett Textiles was founded in the 1940s by husband-and-wife team Leslie and d.d. Tillett, whose painterly fabrics were sought after by tastemakers including Bunny Mellon, Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis, Sister Parish, and Albert Hadley. Screen-printed by hand on a variety of grounds, Tillett’s loosely rendered, distinctively gestural designs have become synonymous with originality, bold color, and an expressive aesthetic based on an unwavering commitment to craftsmanship.
