Neisha Crosland

Since the beginning of time, man and nature have produced the most beautiful patterns, so I am very conscious that there is no point designing anything unless it has a fresh, new point of view.

-Neisha Crosland

Neisha Crosland is a pattern designer known for her elegant and well-balanced repeats of geometrics and flowers, unusual colour combinations and her ability to design patterns for a wide range of products, techniques and mediums. Neisha trained in printed textiles at Camberwell School of Art, going on to the Royal College of Art in London. In 1994 she started her own eponymous textile label designing and producing scarves for international fashionable shops.Today she works from her south London studio designing pattern for tiles, rugs, wallpapers, fabrics, flooring, stationery and scarves. In 2006 she was honoured with a Royal Designer for Industry Distinction (RDI), and in 2017 University of Arts London made her an Honorary Fellow. Her work is archived at the V&A, and Geffrye Museums, and her book Life of a Pattern was published in 2017.
