La Belle wallpaper was inspired by the colorful, gestural illustrations of 20th-century artist and designer Christian Bérard and based on original gouache artwork created in Backdrop’s L.A. studio. Rotary-printed with rich colors and textural accents, this abstract medium-scale design makes a playful, graphic statement.
