      HOW IT WORKS

      2. Determine Your Layout

Select your fabric for the front and back of your pillow—these can be the same or different. Want to frame a certain motif? Let us know what part of the repeat to showcase.

      3. Select a Size and Shape

Square, lumbar, sphere, or bolster? 18" x 18" or 24" x 12"? Tell us what shape and size (anything goes!), and we’re at your service.

      and a romantic touch.

      Trimmings
Our selection of tapes, tassels, fringes, and cords includes every style imaginable, so the options are virtually endless. Run one around a pillow’s perimeter—or just two opposite edges—for truly one-of-a-kind creations.

      Box Pleat
The crisp pleating gives a pillow extra personality.

      Turkish Corner
Using pleating on the corners of the pillow softens the points for a slightly rounded look.

      Boxed Edge
Adding a panel of fabric (or a tape!) around the perimeter, joining the front and back pillow fabrics, gives the pillow a clean geometric shape. Use the same fabric or a contrasting one.

      0004-layer-4

      Knife Edge
The simplest finish—there’s no embellishment at the seams around the edge of the pillow.

      Self-Welt
A little dressier than a knife edge, with the welting made in the same fabric as the pillow.

      Flange
A flat flap of fabric running along the perimeter of the pillow—can be narrow or wide in the same or different fabric.

      4. Choose Your Edging

From a crisp box pleat to a boho tassel to a simple knife edge, there’s no limit to what you can create with custom edging. Don’t forget: You can also add tape as an accent to your pillow face.

      F.A.Q.

      Can custom pillows be returned?
Due to the individual nature of custom pillows, returns are not permitted.

Can I choose a different fabric for the front and back of the pillow?
      Of course—we welcome creativity!

Do the pillows have a zipper closure?
All pillows are completed with a hidden zipper.

Are the pillows branded as Schumacher?
There is a Schumacher tag on the inner lining of the zipper of each pillow. It is only visible when the zipper is open.

What fill is used in the pillow inserts?
Our standard insert is 90% feathers and 10% down. However, we can accommodate requests for hypoallergenic as well as indoor/outdoor inserts.

      Do you allow COM?
At this time, only Schumacher fabrics and trims can be used in our custom pillow program.
