What Makes It Special
Created by Neisha Crosland, this whimsical yet elegant botanical design in black-and-cream was inspired by an antique Indian crewelwork cushion belonging to a friend of the pattern designer. Caterpillar-shaped leaves unfurl seemingly infinitely, reminiscent of Jack and the Beanstalk, making the perfect background for a fairytale setting.
Neisha Crosland is a pattern designer known for her elegant and well-balanced repeats of geometrics and flowers, unusual colour combinations and her ability to design patterns for a wide range of products, techniques and mediums. Today she works from her south London studio designing pattern for tiles, rugs, wallpapers, fabrics, flooring, stationery and scarves.
