What Makes It Special
Neisha Crosland looked to far-ranging influences—luscious tropical mangosteens, the elaborate gold-outlined flora on a 16th-century English needlework bed hanging—for this opulent wallcovering, with its stylized, textural blossoms and curlicued leaves climbing upward like a luxuriant tree of life. Also a fabric.
Neisha Crosland is a pattern designer known for her elegant and well-balanced repeats of geometrics and flowers, unusual colour combinations and her ability to design patterns for a wide range of products, techniques and mediums. Today she works from her south London studio designing pattern for tiles, rugs, wallpapers, fabrics, flooring, stationery and scarves.
