Fashion designer Johanna Ortiz was motivated by her deep connection to Colombia’s cultural heritage and commitment to artisanal craftsmanship when she created this timeless, textural basketweave fabric. Stylish and sturdy, Weaved Basketry offers the look of handwoven raffia and is a wonderful upholstery option for seating—including stools, chairs, or banquettes.

Created in collaboration with Colombian fashion designer Johanna Ortiz, Coco is an allover multidirectional geometric composed of intersecting irregular dotted lines. Inspired by coconut “eyes” and printed by hand on tightly woven 100% linen, this pattern has an appealing laid-back sophistication and a playful spirit. Easy to use and easy to live with, this medium-scale fabric is suitable for any application.

Fashion designer Johanna Ortiz was inspired by a vintage coat when she imagined Andean Tribute Embroidery, an artisanal fabric that reflects a deep connection to her homeland and admiration for the American West. An abstract palm motif is stitched on a 100% cotton ground, creating a wonderfully tactile three-dimensional design that lends texture and geometry to furniture, pillows, or window treatments.

Colombian fashion designer Johanna Ortiz was motivated by a connection to her homeland’s craft tradition when she created this unique handmade trim. Displaying an imaginative combination of hand-dyed raffia fibers, hand-wrapped loops, and natural shells, Ortiz’s Broom Tassel is a stylish accent for pillow corners and adds a touch of tropical chic.
